GROUP BOOKINGS AND PRIVATE DINING ROOMS
I have dietary requirements, how will the set menu work for me?
We will make sure that alterations to the menu are made just for you, so you can sit back and relax knowing that your meal is completely taken care of. We can accommodate for most allergies and dietary requirements, just be sure to let us know in advance so we can guarantee that our kitchen can make the appropriate changes.
Is there a room hire fee?
No, instead we work with a minimum spend model that allows you to spend on food and drinks what you would regularly spend on a room hire fee.
Is there a time limit on our function?
If your group booking takes place in Low Tide, a timeframe of three hours is designated for your booking. When renting a private dining room in High Tide however, a time limit is not so rigid, although we will adhere to our regular ‘last drinks’ and ‘kitchen close’ times.
Can you provide audio/visual equipment for my function?
Unfortunately not at the moment. You are however most welcome to bring equipment you may need for your event so long as we are notified in advance. That way we can ensure that your chosen room can appropriately accommodate your needs.
Can we bring our own cake or wine?
We do not have a license for BYO beverages, but our extensive wine list is curated to pair perfectly with our menu, so you can rest assured that you will be spoilt for choice in that department. We are happy for you to bring a cake for your event, just let us know in advance so we can clear a space in the fridge.
Where can we park?
There is parking along Sydney Road as well as along Albert Street, be sure to check if your space is free or paid! Want to let loose? We are situated right next to the Number 19 tram line as well as a five minute walk from Brunswick Station and multiple bus stops, so there’s no need to drive if you want to kick on.
Can I bring decorations?
As long as you take them home following your booking, then of course! Let us know before the booking date what you plan to bring or if you need to come in early for any set up.
What is your accessibility like?
Low Tide is completely wheelchair accessible with one designated bathroom for those with more accessibility requirements. High Tide, unfortunately, is only reachable via two flights of stairs and therefore not accessible to some patrons with additional needs. Music and lighting can be adjusted in High Tide, although such accommodations cannot always be made. In Low Tide, the dining area is communal. For specific enquiries in regard to accessibility, please contact us via phone or email.
Can I hire additional entertainment?
Please let us know in advance if you plan on organising a third-party vendor as they must be pre-approved by us prior to the booking date. Any
external entertainment that is a surprise to us will incur a fee.
